The landmark Grace Building has played an important role in the history of Sydney and Australia. It was the Grace Bros. retail empire in 1928 and remains one of Sydney's most prominent examples of pre war architecture.
Due to the building's heritage, car parking within the building's basement is limited although adequate for most occasions. Plaza Parking operates a 60 space car park beneath the hotel, offering discounted parking rates to in-house guests and conference delegates. Hotel guests pay a rate of $40 per 24 hour period (multiple entries allowed), with hourly rates available if this time period is exceeded. The entrance to the car park is located on Clarence Street at the rear of the hotel.
Due to the limited number of spaces, car parking cannot be reserved and are available on a first come, first serve basis. Plaza Parking attendants can advise guests on alternative independent parking facilities if the car park is full.

Directions from The Grace Hotel Plaza Parking to Wilsons Car Park:
- From Clarence St. turn right onto King St.
- Take 1st right onto York St. and continue past The Grace Hotel until you meet
Market St.
- Turn right onto Market St. and continue down towards Darling Harbour until you
meet Sussex St.
- Turn left onto Sussex St. and take another quick left into the driveway where you
will see the sign for Wilsons Parking.
- The most suitable pedestrian exit is on Level 3, take the Market St. exit near the
lift.
- Once you have exited the car park and are on Market St, walk up Market St. and
turn left onto York St.
- Continue along York St. to the corner of York and King for The Grace Hotel.
