Another roving success of the Latin American Festival held in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday, 23 May 2017. The 9th Latin American Festival was jointly organised by nine of the Latin American and Caribbean Embassies (GRULAC) in Malaysia namely namely Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela, Plaza Low Yat, Federal Hotels International (FHI) and the Latin Ladies Association of Malaysia with the support of Kuala Lumpur City Hall and Kuala Lumpur Tourism Bureau, the Latin American Festival took place at bbpark at Plaza Low Yat for the seventh consecutive year.   This year’s festival of “Rhythms and Music of Latin America” offered a myriad of incredible line-up of music and dance performances for thousands of culture and music lovers at one of Kuala Lumpur’s largest annual cultural events, the 9th Latin American Festival.  Besides the scrumptious authentic taste of Latin American cuisines, bbpark was filled with colourful sights and sounds.  Raffles tickets were sold at RM20 each with proceeds going to the underprivileged children of Pusat Jagaan Kanak-Kanak Kurang Upaya KIRTARSH.  One lucky winner walked away with two round trip tickets to Havana, Cuba by Turkish Airlines, others took home with prizes comprising from cameras, to mobile phones and hotel vouchers by courtesy of Plaza Low Yat Tenants and the FHI Group of Hotels in Kuala Lumpur.
